Anyone know if it's normal for a payment not to be taken immediately? I'm not really familiar with Paypal yet but I ordered something on Friday that should have been shipped according to the website as long as I had it ordered before 3:00pm EST, which I did. The last time I used it the transaction went through right away and comes directly from my bank account. This time, it still hasn't gone through so i'm assuming my item has then also not been shipped.
If its marked as completed in your paypal account then its been paid.
Transfers from bank accounts are never instant, that is why when you buy something paypal credit the seller upfront for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to pay them back again, this is so you get your item without delay.
Funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.
