Payment initiated

I recently sold some fabric on ebay and the buyer has paid but it says payment initiated. I think this is due to me closing down the original bank account but I have added another but still not processed. Is there anything I can do to solve the issue? Thanks

I am having the same issue. I don't think it is you. I think PayPal is completely overwhelmed by the current state of affairs and possibly holding payments for whatever reason! I have tried to chat, but I just get people saying oh sorry I missed you looks like you left when it clearly states there will be a follow up either way. The only answer I've received thus far is that there are no issues with payments. Literally 6 words.

Thank you for raising your concern through our community forum.

When someone sends you money, we’ll email you advising you of the payment send.

The funds you receive will appear in your account balance. Sometimes you may need to first accept a payment before it shows up in your PayPal account (for example, if it's sent in a currency for which you do not have an open balance on your account). You can then use the balance to send payments or withdraw it to your bank account provided they have already been linked and confirmed.

Your Activity page is a record of the payments you’ve sent or received.
