Payment attempts through Paypal not working

I recently linked my commerzbank account with Paypal and made a payment on Lidl.de yesterday, without any problem. Today, I attempted to make payments through paypal on eBay.de and Lidl.de. Both the times, it asked me to enter bank account details. There was no option to choose the already-linked bank account. Anyway, I typed in my IBAN just to see if it would work; but it didn't. It said that the bank account is already linked.

 

Anyone facing similar issues?

 

I tried calling customer service but they only speak German and I am not very good at it. Thanks in advance and thanks for your time!

To be able to make and receive payments kindly check if your email address is confirm.

 

Here's how to confirm your email address:

  1. Go to  Settings.
  2. Click Update next to the email address you want to confirm.
  3. Click Confirm this email and we'll send you an email.
  4. In the email we send you, click the Confirm your email button. At that time, you’ll be directed to the PayPal login page to enter your password and finalize the email confirmation process.

To be able to send payments, please ensure to link a bank account or a card to your PayPal account. If you send a payment that is greater than the amount on your PayPal balance, the difference will come from the bank account or card you have linked to your PayPal account.
