Payment Authorization - Charged only a fraction of authorized amount

Hello! Good day!

I tried to bought three items in an online shop and it costed 3600 JPY. Then Paypal charged my debit card 3600 JPY, and having "Authorization - Pending" status in Paypal Summary section.

After a few days, some of the items are unavailable and the store charged me only 600 JPY. It also shows in Paypal Summary section that the store only took 600 JPY, but the 3000 JPY didn't return to my debit card. 

Is there any way to recover the remaining 3000 JPY? In my debit card, it shows 3600 JPY paid to "PAYPAL Wallet" but no returned amount of 3000 JPY yet.

When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.

If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.

Hello! 

The company got the payment, but instead of charging 3600 JPY, it only charged 600 JPY. 

Paypal charged by 3600 for the payment, and did not return the 3000 JPY.

In my bank statement, it shows that paypal charged me 3600 JPY. So i'm really worried why the remaining 3000 is still not returned.

In my Paypal summary, the company only charged 600 JPY out of 3600 JPY as shown.

So this payment is captured (I assumed), but only a partial of it.
