Was using the same PIN number with my old phone and had Paypal set up with Samsung Pay and
it worked fine. Some stores require the 4 digit PIN, some don't.
Ever since upgrading to my new phone, I can no longer pay with Samsung Pay using Paypal
at stores that require the PIN.
I contacted paypal, and after nearly an hour on the phone and them removing the 2 phones from my account on their end,
it is still not working.
They said they found record of my old phone, and when I was setting the PIN, it was being set to the old phone. Supposedly,
once they cleared them both out, and I added Paypal back to samsung pay and then re-entered the 4 digit PIN to use for in store
purchases, it was supposed to fix the problem but it is still not working.
I can use Samsung Pay with Paypal just fine in stores that do not require a PIN, but it's not working in stores that require a PIN.
I cringe at the thought of having to contact Paypal customer support on the phone, and again have to spend all that time with them
to yet again not have this resolved.
Anyone else had a similar problem?
If so, how do I go about getting this resolved?
