I will be writing an email to ALL the stores I have used Paypal to buy goods and services with and let them know why I cannot use Paypal anymore....as I cannot access my account without a mobile phone number.  I will let them know that I will not be able to use their stores anymore unless they accept a credit card transaction.  This move is locking people out of their accounts and not giving them access to their money ....I feel the only way is to drain the Paypal account of funds until it starts using my bank account funds and THEN I WILL STOP using Paypal. Paypal you have made a serious mistake as with other organisations and governments in Australia that have forgotten the older generation that are NOT  being obsessed by the digital age and soley depend on it to live their lives.  Goodness knows how the world would cope if the satillites stopped working???? A digital pandemic would happen I suppose! Won't worry me!

Do you want advice on how to log in?

Only may be a bit of a waste of time for me to post it if you are not going to add a mobile phone to your account once you have regained access.

You would need to add one to continue using Paypal or you would have further issues on log in etc.

Why not get a cheap pay as you go phone for a tenner from a supermarket to use with Paypal? Most companies are requiring you to add one to their sites now, my bank is asking for one to be added when you go to online banking.

As for the 'older generation' guess that is what I am and I don't leave home without my phone !
