I recently attached my PayPal account to the Nintendo eShop to purchase games for a new Switch console. Whenever I make a purchase, though, it ignores my balance in favor of my attached bank account. I've disconnected and reconnected the account a couple times with the same effect, despite the subtext saying it would use the balance first. Is there a way to find out why it would be bypassing a balance with more than enough funds and no hold issues?
