My bank is not showing as a way to pay for a product.

I am buying something off of selly.gg, and I have bought stuff off of there before with my other bank account, which was a savings account. I switched to a checking account and just confirmed the account on Paypal today. I try to buy from Selly, and it shows the old UI from Paypal, and it only gives me an option to pay with my prepaid card that has no money on it. I even set my bank account as a preferred way to pay. I tried buying another thing from Newegg and it let me pay with my bank account flawlessly. Is selly preventing me from paying with my bank? What is going on?

For security reasons some 'sites' will only allow card funded paypal payments.

To confirm this its best to check with the website.

Thank you! Also, why are my payments to friends eChecks? Is there a way to make them direct payments?

Reasons for a payment being sent as an echeque are...

1. Card needs updating / no card linked.
2. Recent neg balance.
3. Recent failed bank transfer.
4. High cost payment.
5. High risk transaction.
6. Some friends / family payments.
