Movement missing in my history

I cannot track a transaction in my account history/statement . I have all the details (that I received by email), but no way to have the official PayPal evidence.

How can I get it? For tax declarations I need the extract of the credit card linked to the PayPal account, as well. This is the only transaction I cannot find.

What might have happened?

I have the confirmation that the amount has been duly delivered to the addressee.

If the email address that you received the payment confirmation to is the same as the one used in your PayPal account, you might have sent a guest payment.

This means that the merchant is accepting payments through PayPal but you have paid entering the details of your credit card instead of checking out with PayPal (using email and password).
