Money sent to wrong email, is there anyway to recover it?

I was selling an engine and payment was partially through paypal. A few key numbers were missed and the money was sent to the wrong paypal account using friend to friend. is there anyway to reverse this without knowing that person so I can receive that payment?

Is it showing as SENT and not pending/unclaimed?

If so then there are only 2 ways, contact the recipient and request a refund (sadly you can't force them to do so) OR if you funded your payment via a credit card then ask them to help you BUT they may not as it was not a payment for goods/services.
