On 24 July I have sent a payment and PayPal has been withdrawn the amount from my Visa, yesterday I canceled the payment but I didn’t receive my fund. Although it appears in my PayPal activity that money is refunded! I contacted my bank but they told me the money does not appear in my account! So what’s the problem?
If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card. Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long. Last week I did the same and the money return back to my card immediately after I canceled! but I don't know what happened this time and Paypal didn't reply to me till now 😞
