How can i cancel pending payments to friends and familly?

How can i cancel pending payments to friends and family? for some reason paypal keeps sending them as echeques and now i have 3 transactions to the same person and i cant get them processed or cancelled.... at the end of my tether with this

Normally when you pay a seller its never instant, paypal credit the seller for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer so you have no delay in the despatch of your item.

HOWEVER if its a friends / family payment funded via your bank account / bank transfer then it often is sent as an echeque and you and your friend have to take the wait for the funds to transfer through to paypal before they are paid.

If you have sent it 3 times then you would have to wait for all 3 to transfer through to your paypal account and if you have cancelled them they will be credited to your paypal balance BUT if you did 3 transactions to your friend then they may get all 3 payments.

You can't cancel pending echeques. Somtimes the recipient can if they click on the transaction and that option is on the details page.
