If the order was never accepted from the seller, we may have not charged the amount.
The card issuer, however, may have reserved the amount on the card, with an authorization.
Once the authorization is voided from the merchant , it is up to the card issuer to release the amount on the card, it may take few days, depends from the issuer.
In case the order was not cancelled from the seller, the authorization will expire after some time, the time frame depends from the card issuer.

A pending payment is automatically canceled if the recipient doesn’t claim or accept it within 30 days. Don't worry rest assured that if the seller cancelled the order or did not processed the order the money that was taken out from card will be refunded to the original funding source still.
