Fees that Paypal charges for Ebay Sales

I just sold an item for $52.00 US Dollars and 49.95 shipping and 8.41 tax Ebay hit me up for total of 10.50 and Paypal hit me for 11.91. More than 10 percent of the sale. What am I missing in the fees that I am supposed to be paying Paypal? I though it was 2.9% and .30.  

Any insight would be appreciated.

This is the million dollar question I have too! Varies and is unclear on PayPal. Very frustrating.
