Well, certainly if you've accepted the money, and have a balance in the PayPal, you can't even close the account until you have zero balance by spending it on purchases or sending the money to another paypal account (perhaps that can be an option, just opening another account with different email address under your maiden name and PayPal yourself as friends and family, then close the other account) otherwise your option is to change your DL and SSN card name, then.

Be forewarned though, PayPal may require a back up payment method to back up your PayPal balance use during checkout so you do need a combination of a bank account, debit card, or credit card to successfully make transactions sometimes depending on the store/merchant you're paying. Some shops setup billing agreements for streamline checkout experience and this requires a back up funding source.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Get your DL and SSN card changed to married name OR flip your facebook name to maiden name and close the PayPal account you just opened and start over with maiden name.

Take your pick; whichever is easiest or quickest for you to do in your estimation.
