During the time a refund I received for an item I purchased and sent back on ebay the original debit card I used was updated to a new one but the refund was authorized to my old card. What do I do?

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller with a card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your card. Paypal say allow 30 days but I have never waited longer than a week for mine, however that depends a lot on what country you are in.

If both old and new debit cards were / are linked to the same paypal account then it shouldn't be a problem.

They are sent back to the cards 'account'.

That's what I thought but it doesn't give me an option to send the money to my checking account like it normally does so I don't have any way to actually access the funds...

"Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your card. "

Right, that's the problem. That original card no longer exists. So then what happens?

I told you that in my FIRST post, if old and new cards were linked to the same ACCOUNT then it shouldn't be a problem.
