Recently I visited a hotel and I had to pay a hold of about $720, I saw this money leave my PayPal balance. This Payment stayed as pending until checkout, to which they said they dropped the charge and it should go back. When I look at my account summary the entire transaction with the $720 is nowhere to be found. I’m confused on when I should expect a refund or was the money never actually taken out but rather just held. (For example I’ve had payments that never fully dropped my account balance until they fully went through)
