Cancel payment

I paid for an order after I was transfered to Paypal in the checkout of an online shop. Two days later the seller contacted me to say that the payment was pending because it seemed that I had chosen the order to be paid after it was delivered; however, when I was transfered to Paypal in the checkout there weren't any options offered - I hit the Pay Now as I have done many times in the past. The seller asked me to cancel the payment, but I can't see a Cancel button in this activity. I checked my bank account and the money hasn't been withdrawn. In the Paypal activity looks like the money has been paid. I wonder why I can't see a Cancel button in the activity.
