Can't receive money. Asks for email confirmation on paypal

Hi,

 

I've been trying to use paypal to withdraw funds from a gambling website (Pokerstars)

It doesn't appear to be a legal issue as the company is legalized to provide a gambling platform in my country and I've used paypal for these transactions before.

 

However, this time, I'm able to request a withdraw from the gambling website, but I keep getting an email with the following:

 

"funds may have been returned because the email address registered on your PayPal account has not been verified yet. If this is the case, please contact PayPal directly for assistance"

 

My email is confirmed and I've already removed and re-added the email to my account.

 

Any idea how I might fix this problem?

If your payment is pending, it means that the recipient hasn’t accepted it yet. There are a few reasons why your payment might be pending.

A payment might be pending because:

The recipient hasn’t signed up for a PayPal account yet.
You sent money to an email address or phone number that the recipient hasn’t added to their PayPal account. As soon as they add this information to their account, they will receive your payment.
The recipient is still deciding whether they want to accept your payment.
The recipient hasn't confirmed their bank account.
If your payment is unclaimed/pending for 30 days or your payment was denied or refunded, you’ll get your money back.

If you paid with your debit or credit card, the money will go back to your card. (It can take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your card statement.) If you paid with your bank account, the money will be returned to your bank account. If you paid with your PayPal balance, the money will be returned to your PayPal balance.

Thanks for your answer @Sharingiscaring ,

 

Unfortunately I found out I cannot make payment, too.

When I do try, I receive a message informing that the vendor is not within my "country or region", so I can't send/receive money.

I'm in touch with their support team but it sounds weird, as I've just used their service recently (made a purchase 3rd March), and everything went smooth... Both sending and receiving appears to go smooth on their side, but paypal blocks the transactions and send the money back.
