I could use some help with the following situation. I am trying to redeem a code for getting a PlayStation Plus subscription and it asks me to add a payment method (for auto-renewing the subscription when it expires). I tried to add my PayPal account as a payment method but it's not working, I keep getting the same message saying 'Sorry, we weren’t able to set up preapproved payments at this time. Please return to the merchant and choose another way to pay."
Am I missing something here? Is it mandatory to have a sum in the PayPal account at the moment of linking it with the PSN account? Please help.
