Paypal express payment - shopify

Been trying to set Paypal express payment for my checkout gateway, and so far shows active- Linked to the account with the same email as our shopify account- But customers can't use the paypal checkout as it display this message: 'PayPal wasn’t available. Use a different payment method or try again later." How can I resolve this problem. I am located in Botswana and my shopify store is in BWP, our local currency.

Thank you for contacting PayPal community.
Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
I would suggest to please follow the below steps.
- Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
- Click Settings.
- Click Payments.
- Select PayPal Express Checkout within the PayPal module.
- Click Activate.
- Once directed to a PayPal login page, log in to your PayPal account and click I Give Permission.
- Click Back to Shopify.
- Under Payment Authorization, select:
- Automatically capture payments for orders (Immediate Sale).
- Manually capture payment for orders (Authorize only).
- Click Save.
Note: You'll find complete information and steps on integrating PayPal with your Shopify cart in Shopify's online manual.
While reactivating, select PayPal Express from the PayPal payment options.
