I use a CMS called Moodle. We have IPN at paypal turned on to notify moodle when a payment is processed so the customer can access the moodle course.
We also sell trainers using paypal buttons. They do not need IPN. Yet since IPN is turned on for my account, Paypal notifies moodle of the transaction, and moodle doesnt know of any transaction as its not originated from moodle, and paypal sees it as a fail.
Issue is I am receiving emails from paypal telling me they are failing and if I dont fix it, they will turn off IPN. I need IPN for the moodle part of our site, but not the button part of our site.
What is the resolution?
