How do I set up auto return with advanced checkout

I've got a business account and set up advanced buttons for customer payment. The buttons are working, and payments go through when I test the credit card button. Immediately AFTER the successful credit card payment, I'm trying to set up auto return to go back to my website, and show a page that confirms purchase. The auto return link is not working. I've gone into website preferences, and entered the url, https://sites.google.com/view/theweatherobserver/confirm-purchase, and turned on auto return. I got a green 'saved' indicator. I see this warning: These settings will only affect PayPal buttons integrated using one of our trusted partner sites. I also saw someplace else that this auto return is for the standard buttons, but again, I'm using the advanced buttons. How do I set up auto return for advanced buttons?

Hi @santod1 and @SusanH5,

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

I understand there is some confusion about where to specify a return URL for your PayPal Advanced Checkout integration. You will need to specify the return_url in the API request in the payment_source.card.experience_context.return_url object [https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#orders_create!path=payment_source/card/experience_c...].

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask them here or create a PayPal Merchant Technical Support (MTS) ticket via the following URL: https://www.paypal.com/mts. Please ensure that you provide detailed information and any errors you are experiencing when submitting the ticket.

Sincerely,
