Iphone app not sending notifications

Wierd one this, just started a couple of days ago, the payap app on my Iphone 4 has stopped giving me notifications of a payment received, also the icon which used to have a number in the corner showing how many new transactions has stopped working too

 

I've got the notifications switched on, and I have deleted the app and reloaded it but still the same

 

any ideas, I think this happened after the last update

I'm having the exact same problem. It started 3 days ago, and in that time I havent received a single 'money received' notification. Its happening on all my devices - I have 2 iPhones and an iPad, none of them are jailbroken, they're running the latest software, and it doesnt matter whether I'm using WIFI or 3G, I'm still not receiving notifications. I've uninstalled the app and re-installed it, I've played around with the settings, but still nothing. I sell 40+ items a day on eBay and because the eBay app doesnt send item sold notifications, I've been relying on PayPal to tell me when funds have been received, but it just wont work no matter what I try.

Glad it's not just me, it worked for one transaction this morning , but has reverted back to nothing again. Come on paypal sort this out!

I sent them an email, and called them, and I also sent an email to the eBay Mobile team to see if they knew who I could contact to find out what the problem is, and none of them have replied. I find it quite odd that they go to the time and expense to create an app, but then dont spend any time or expense to fix problems with the app when they happen. Its now been almost a week and I cant believe the problem is only happening to two people.

Its happening to me also, for the last 2 weeks since the update. Its really doing my head in now as i sell a lot WE NEED ANSWERS!!!

I've been having this problem too for over a month now and it's now September! Has PayPal done anything yet to sort this out?

I just wanted to chime in that I too am having this problem. I believe I first noticed it about two weeks ago. Would be nice to see this resolved as I feel this kind of notification is quite important. I'm very happy with Paypal overall though.

Its still not working for me, and hasnt done since I first posted about it. The eBay app (for iPad, anyway) has been updated to give notifications when an item has been sold, which helps a little, but the PP app is still not working.
