Hi what happens if you take payment by contactless and the card isn't reported stolen. The person whose card realises and cancels the card and disputes the transaction. Does the driver lose the money even though there's no way of him knowing it was a stolen card ???

Hi MickstersSupers.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you regarding this.
If you were to receive a payment that was reported as unauthorised, it could be possible that the payment could be refunded back to the card holder.
You can find some helpful information on how to protect yourself against credit card fraud when using your PayPal Here card reader. Although it is a US web page, it will give you some helpful tips and information on how you can try to reduce the possibility of receiving fraudulent payments via PayPal here https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/brc/paypal-here-help-protect-yourself-against-credit-card-fraud-0
