PayPal Here crashes at loging

Hi everyone,

My PayPal Here crashes at the login

- login page (login name & password) - OK

- page: Cogratulations! You're now ready to accept payments wherever you do business...

then click button - Start Selling

- new screen: Set-up complete

message: You're ready to go

-click "DONE"

after short thinking - "unfortunately. PayPal Here has stopped."

How to fix the trouble?

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with this. 

What device are you using? Have you updated your phone/tablet to the latest software update?

My device Sony Z2 D6503 (Android 5.1.1)

No changes with the mobile phone;

I have noticed, that recently PayPal Here App was updated; I suspect that the latest update has bugs, that crushes the app.

My steps to rectify the problem:

- uninstall PayPal here

- reboot the mobile phone

- install PayPal Here

... the problem is still there.

I was even tried:

- uninstall PayPal here

- Install PayPal Here

- start the App, and instead of LOGIN, I used SignUp.

- run through setup process for PayPal account

- last screen (after giving DOB and address) program crashes with error message: Sorry! We have technical problems. Try SignUp later.

Thanks. Yesterday I start the app and it start working.

I was able to accept / register cash payment; and the credit card reader is working as well.

Hope that problem would not happen again.

Dear Siobhan,

My excitment was too early.

The app is still having trouble and crashes at logging; with same simptomps as explained earlier in my initial posts.

The problem lies definitely on the server side.

My steps to overcome the problem:

- get to settings

- found PayPal Here

- delete "cash"

- delete "data"

- start the program

problem still there and app cannot loging.

Please advice for fix.
