App for Windows?

I see PayPal in the USA have launched a version of the Here app (yes, specifically the Here app!) for Windows Phone. Can we expect it in the UK and in what timescale?

Good question and welcome to the community.

This is something we are certainly looking into however we would not have any further information at this time. As soon as there is an update we will be sure to post here in our community forum and also online at www.paypal.co.uk/here

Understood. I'm using iZettle at the moment, but would switch to PP Here if you release the app on the Windows Phone platform. There is nothing to be gained by switching to Here unless the app is available on my mobile phone of choice.

Any news of a Windows App? iZettle have "upgraded" their Android app, and broken something that did not need fixing. Maybe you should offer an iZettle amnesty and do us a swap out with a Here reader to get iZettle users on board!!! Cheers. Ray

Not only for Windows phone, we would like to use it with our Windows PC rather than having to have a phone/tablet just to take card payments. If there was also an SDK to allow us to easily integrate taking card payments with our existing in house written POS software the could be even better
