Maybe someone can help me out. I HAD two paypal accounts. I wanted to take my smart connect (paypal buyer credit) from one of my paypal account and transfer it to my other one. I first emailed paypal to see if this can be done. I was told no problem, but I had to call in to verify questions, etc.
I called in, and got transferred around. After my third or so attempt, I got a rep that had to put me on hold to ask and later found out that it can be done, but I need to first close out my paypal account that had the smart connect account linked to it. Then it will be a few days to get the service request completed to move my smart connnect account over to my other paypal account. So, guess what? I closed my paypal account, and now im stuck with no way to access or even use my smart connect account. Phone calls back to many reps and was told its not possible to transfer smart connect accounts from one paypal account to another. Wonderful! So now I cant use the smart connect account, cant make online payments, cant see my balance. I had to call in to GEMB get paper statement switched on, so I dont miss payments. I plan to my off my balance and eventually close my smart connnect account, but has anyone out there at all been able to accomplish this?
