Required to use PayPal Extra Card?

I got a notice saying my $5k sending limit on my Premier account is getting close, and that I need to get verified to lift the limit. I don't want to link my bank account. If I get the PayPal Extra Credit Card to verify my account, am I required to use the card? I just want to continue using the credit card I currently have linked to my account.
