Cancel PayPal Smart Connect

I don't know how I got enrolled in this but I don't want it, how do I cancel / close my account?

(I didn't spend any money w/ it, just don't want some random line of credit)

I've been trying to build my credit, I'm hoping this didn't hit it....

After getting your balance, say "Operator" when prompted.

I too successfully cancelled this credit card but cannot find how to remove it as a payment option from my account.  I don't want it to be accidentally selected since it is no longer a valid option.  Any suggestions?

I noticed that too. I don't know how I got signed up for this credit card. I have no way of knowing and PayPal never told me how it was selected. I cancelled it right away after I got my first monthly statement. I told them I didn't even receive a physical card to know there was something opened. With all the identity theft going on online I really freaked out.
