Debit Card Help

I have just got a paypal debit card and wanted to know how much money I have on it I can't tell at all. Do I have to send the money to the card or is my paypal account balance the amount on the card. Also can I take money on my debit card and withdraw it at an atm?

Hey there Wahlnutz,

There is no money on your card.... it doesn't work like a gift card.  The debit card is like a check card you might have with your bank. It uses your PayPal balance and a backup funding source like the bank that you have associated with your PP account. You can set up your backup funding on the Debit Card profile page.  Your "My Account" page should have a Debit Card link in the [My Account Tools ] box on the right-hand side. Click that to get to the DC profile page.
