Using PayPal reader in another country

I want to travel to France and Switzerland and sell books there. Can I use a PayPal card reader and a UK account? Does it work?

If your business is based in the UK.  According to PayPal, you can use the card reader abroad, but you will only be able to charge pounds sterling and PayPal may limit usage of the functionality of the PayPal Here app and card reader in certain countries.
