Does PayPal ever answer anything?

Just wondering if anyone else has managed to get any sense out of PayPal, 13 days in and I am still waiting for a *human* reply regarding my account.

I contacted PayPal 13 days ago regarding this and got an automated reply with the instructions 'If we haven’t answered your question, please reply to this email' so as it didn't fix anything I hit reply. In response to that I got exactly the same automated response as I received in the first message so I left it a day and tried again, following the instructions and hit reply. Probably know where this is going but yes all I got was the exact same automated message from the first message, if the first two messages didn't fix the problem it's not likely this will.

After waiting 5 days and not hearing a word from PayPal I decided to put in a formal complaint, that was 8 days ago and had no reply from them either.

I'm at the point now where I intend to close the account entirely, not surprised with this level of customer service PayPal is going down the toilet.

Anyway just wondering if others have had the same problem and how long they waited.

Oh and when did 150 become a swear word, I updated my preferences and 150 was flagged in red and I was told to 'clean up my language' as it wasn't acceptable, although if they can't understand a 3 digit number it would probably explain why they haven't replied to me.

PayPal has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I refuse to use them anymore. My husband just recently used it and they messed up his transaction as well. Now we’re waiting for $800 to be refunded back to our account and we’ve yet to hear from anyone on paypal

Hello Devic,

i'm sorry, i have the same problem, no answer just robots. So i came here and hope, someone else has the same problem and answer my question.

Concretely, i can not register my new credit card, because there is a faulty input field and i can not write zero number (my car's expiration date is year 2020).

It would seem not. I've had bad experience with contacting them in the past and I think now it's even harder to get past the automated system. eBay and Shutl are the same. If anything goes wrong and the system's simple pathways can't solve it then you've had it, sadly. I had to involve Ombudsman once and even get a crime number from the Police once (UK)
