Access Balance Question

Hi.

I've just got my Paypal access card, activated it and went to my account manager only to notice I have zero funds available.

It's linked to my account (It's a Paypal Business Account) that has a healthy amount of funds in it. However, and I assume this is the issue, those funds are in US Dollars.

 1) Because it's in US Dollars, is that why my Access Available Funds is showing as zero?

 2) Would this be solved by transferring some of these dollars into pounds? (Having a secondary currency).

 3) If 2, then how to I do this? I don't want to convert the entire paypal account into pounds, I would prefer just converting a small amount in order to start using my access card, but I couldn't find a way to complete this.

 Thanks for any help!

I've worked it out.

Here's the steps to take in case anyone else has this "issue":

 1) Currencies.

 2) Add British Pounds under select new currency.

 3) British Pounds will show up below the US Dollars...as zero. Your dollar amount will be unaffected.

 4) On the right side, go to Balance Conversion.

 5) Select From US Dollar to British Pounds (and use the calc). Then at the bottom is "continue" (Right at the bottom).

 6) Carry out the transfer (I only did a 100 dollars to test it) and it shows up in your curriences.

 7) LOG OUT of Paypal Access. Log back in and it shows up as available balance! 🙂

Yet to test it in a store etc, but this looks like it'll work out nicely.
