trying to locate my APIs area

When trying to follow all the steps i have seen I have not had any success.  Once signed in it does not show my name and when I click on the gear it goes to my profile but does not show a manage profile in order to get my APIs.  How can i get that??

Thank you for posting to the PayPal Merchant Community.

It sounds like you have a Personal account and not a business account, based on the description of your account view. In order to access API credentials, your PayPal Account will need to be a business account. The API credential link was removed from the Personal and Premier account view.

Although Premier accounts can still access the vanity link for API Credentials, it is still recommended to upgrade to a Business Account.

Here is how to upgrade your PayPal Personal Account to a Business Account:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Upgrade to a Business account.
3. Enter all of the information and follow the steps on screen.

Once you have a Business account, here is how to access your API Credentials:

1. Log into your PayPal Account
2. Hover over your name
3. Click Account Settings
4. Click Update next to API Credentials
5. Scroll down to NVP/SOAP API Integration (Classic)
6. Create API Signature Credentials
