stupid question about paypal account name for getting invoices

I have a really stupid question. I need to have someone send me an invoice for something i am buying. do i tell them my email address that i use when i sign into paypal? or do i tell them my user name on ebay? I need to make sure i receive this invoice so that i can pay it through paypal. thanks!

Hello dripdesignz ,

That is not a stupid question that is a legit question. You will want to give them your PayPal email address as this is how your PayPal account is identified when you send and receive money. The eBay user ID is not used when it comes to sending or receiving funds.
