Where did my money go?

Hi, so i had 14 dollars in paypal and I received 2.50 as a gift from my friend and I did not need it so i refuned it and now I only have 13.69. Why is this?

Paypal has a small fee they take when you send payments over a certain amount. If you hook up your bank account you can relinquish that problem.
