I don't think you can add that bank in South Africa.
From paypals help pages...............
How can I transfer funds from my PayPal account to my bank account in South Africa?
Transferring funds from your PayPal account directly to your eligible First National Bank of South Africa (ETF) bank account is easy and secure.
To transfer funds, you must first link your PayPal account to your bank account.
To link your PayPal account to your ETF account, follow these steps:
Log in to your FNB account at www.fnb.co.za.
Click on PayPal Services and then on Link PayPal Profile.
Follow the instructions to link your accounts. You will need to sign in to your PayPal account to confirm that you are the account holder.
After linking your PayPal account to your ETF account, follow these steps to transfer funds to your ETF bank account from your PayPal account:
Log in to your FNB account at www.fnb.co.za.
Click on PayPal Services and then on Withdraw from PayPal.
Enter the transfer amount in USD dollars. (Please check that your PayPal balance is sufficient to make the transfer.)
Follow the instructions to confirm the exchange rate, the Rand amount you will receive, and the Transaction Terms and Conditions.
You will be directed to PayPal to sign in and verify the amount you are transferring to your ETF account.
Then you will be redirected to the FNB site. Your funds will be transferred to your bank account within 3 to 6 business days.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Hello,
This is not an appropriate answer. What is the Routing number for FNB South Africa that we need to enter in PayPal in order to link to our FNB account? I have already successfully completed the linking process from within FNB online banking... now just to link it from PayPal... WITH the ROUTING number, which I cannot find anywhere.

Hello,
Does anyone perhaps know the correct 9-digit routing number that PayPal is requesting from FNB when you try to link your bank account within PayPal? Surely both PayPal, as well as FNB, should know this number and just give it out whenever needed. HINT: Apparently it's found on the bottom left corner of a cheque... which I don't have. I would assume it's a universally used number for the entire country.

I'm an FNB customer (not sure if the following applies to STDB account):
1- Set up PayPal account on their site. Skip linking your bank account, for now.
2- Login to your online banking profile/account
3- Click on the Forex tab
4- Look around and click on PayPal Service tab. This action will populate the page with some basic FYI.
5 - At the bottom of this page, click on the hypelinked payapal URL. When I did this, I was sent straight to the PayPal account, thus allowing me to link both accounts (FNB and PP)
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
