Not an American citizen so no SSN

I do not have an SSN or Any other document to prove my identity as an American I worked there for about 6 months mora than 10 years ago (because I'm not) I received a payment through paypal, I happened to create this account while I was in the US and now in order to keep it in PayPal balance I have to provide documentation that I do not have. Is there any other type of documentation I can provide? I am a Dominican citizen I have all my docs in order, but I have nothing from the US.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You won't be able to access any funds sent to a U.S paypal account if you are no longer in the U.S, as you can't accept them then hopefully in 30 days they should go back to the sender of the funds.

If so then you can try and close the old account > open one in the correct country and then request payment again.
