A Nightmare | Withdrawing from Paypal to UAE based Bank Accounts

As the title suggests. I have been trying to withdraw from Paypal to my UAE-based HSBC account since 22 Jan. Yes you heard it correct. After 20 days of the transactions, the funds refunded back to my account with a message saying the bank details are incorrect..

Make sense. Humans do mistakes, so I suck it up & added my other Emirates NBD bank account which is also a leading banking institution in UAE. This time I took a screenshot before submitting the bank details so later I can verify later.

I submitted the withdrawal on 11 Feb & according to Paypal it should hit my bank account by 15 Feb & guess what, Today is 18 and the money is still not there..

I go back to my screenshot, checked bank details multiple times. It is 100% correct.

Now I am wondering if this transaction is also on the course of being refunding back?! if that is the case I will suffer for another 15 days. Paypal support is unhelpful & they are not even willing to admit the possibility that if two transfers are unsuccessful to two different bank accounts, then the problem might be on their side?!

Anyhow, I am the one suffering. Ironically, the debit card withdrawal option which comes with 20 AED fee is still working for me like a charm. Should i assume that Paypal is deliberately delaying bank account withdrawals so the customers use the one where they are making money?!

I will wait for this transfer. Afterward, I will involve the concerned UAE authorities in this matter.

Any update with your withdrawal? because its my 3rd day after requesting the withdrawal of my funds and there's still no money in my account.

2nd Transfer was initiated on 11 Feb so 10 days today and no sign of money in my Emirates NBD account. I am prepared to receive a refund again this time with a lame excuse by Paypal (incorrect bank details)

That is two failed transfers in a row made to two different bank accounts in UAE (Emirates NBD & HSBC).

There is no chance that bank details are incorrect 2nd time!

It's been a month since I am struggling to get my OWN MONEY BACK. After these transactions, I will withdraw everything to my debit card & ironically this option is working fine where Paypal is charging 20 AED fees which are creating doubts about the Bank transfer option.

I am thinking of raising that matter with relevant authorities in UAE.

Unfortunately no.

Two failed transfers to 2 different banks in a row. Paypal will open a trace today.
