cannot complete payment and cannot change payment method

Hi so i got an invoice from an German online store (im from Greece) and when i tried to pay i noticed that i had not verified my card or bank account so i could not complete the transaction. So i did that and also put my bank account as default payment method. But when i try now again to proceed with the payment in the invoice i still get the card as default payment method and i cannot change the payment method at all. Also although i verified my card it still doesn't let me pay. does anyone know what could be wrong? I noticed that that the invoice has an option to cancel it. Do you think that i have to do this and then try to accept it again becasue it needs to get updated or something?
