Says my bank account is already with an other account

Hey!

First time opening an PayPal account, whenever I try to connect my bank account with my PayPal account.
It says it's already in use, but this is my first time?  I can prove its my bank account.

Is this a common issue here?

Could a partner / family member have added it to a paypal account?

If not then you would need to contact customer services to sort it out.
