Receiving money question

Once I receive money from a friend, do I have to use those funds on PayPal, or can I cash it somehow?

You can click on withdraw / transfer funds and send it to any linked debit card or bank account.

I have been trying to withdraw fund into my debit card, but it is not giving me any option
