Is the money showing on your pending balance? If so, it may have been a money that you received that was sent as a payment for goods and services. This is usually held if you have limited selling history on your account or if PayPal sees higher than normal risk.
If that is the case, the sender of the payment can follow the steps on this help center article to get the funds sooner. You can also read this article to know more about this.

Please note that the sender of the payment has to do the confirmation, not you. Also, kindly advise them to do it on a desktop or mobile browser. This option is not available on the mobile app.
*There are however some occasions where money that was sent under friends or family payments are held for reviews but these are normally only 24 hours.
