Paypal is taking fees from payments people are sending to me for reasons other than me providing them with goods or a service. I am a homeroom mom and collected money to buy a teacher appreciate gift and they took fees and gave me an option to print a shipping label. I also received a payment from a VRBO owner (refund for vacation rental canceled) and they tool a fee from that too. I have tried to contact them via customer service messenger and no response. Is there any other way to reach them? Its not a lot of money but it is certainly unfair for me to have to pay for the transfers.
