PayPal Balance incorrect

I received a deposit to my PayPal account, it shows it came in on the 10th of September.  But my PayPal balance does not reflect this deposit.  How can I find out what happened to it, or make a help ticket.

Deposit as in....

1. Refund?

2. Add funds from bank account?

3. Payment for a sale?

4. Personal gift payment?

The deposit show's that it has been received on the 10th of September but it does not show in my PayPal Balance nor do I see it in the details as pending.  Here's the Transaction ID89V43101T9342634S.

How am i supposed to look in your paypal account and find that transaction id....do you want me to try and hack your paypal account? 

If you could actually answer the question I originally asked it may help to find out what you are talking about.

It was a deposit from collecting receipts, from a company called Receipt Hog.  So I guess a deposit.

So what I'm saying I don't know what to categorize it as.   I didn't sell anything, and it wasn't a refund.  So I guess a gift.

Did you get paypal email confirmation that the payment was made or transfered?

Was it sent in your currency or another one?

What country are you in?

I'm in the United States, Alabama.  Yes I did received confirmation that it was received

And it shows up in the activity but does not show in the balance.

Have you bought anything and paid for it via paypal since the payment should have gone in??

The reason i ask is that if you have funds in your paypal balance and then buy something then paypal will sometimes take from those funds rather than from your normal funding source eg bank account or card.

To check go and click on the word "details" next to any recent paypal buying transaction and see if they were funded from your paypal balance ie  payment rather than your normal funding source.
