Money not received

Hey, a friend from the USA sent me money and for him it says the money has been received but there is nothing in my paypal account, i can’t contact paypal and he has called them, he said that it’s definitely been sent to my email

Have you received funds at all before?

Have you verified your email address?

Are your sure the email address did not have a spelling error?

Are you sure it was sent to the same email address that you have linked to your paypal account?

Was it sent in UK pounds?
