Linking a bank account

Hello! I'm new to using PayPal and I just linked my bank account here, I'm not sure what is the next step. Am I supposed to get an email or like an SMS for confirmation or something? It says here under Type, "Checking". Does that mean PayPal is still checking my bank account?
