I am unable to add my card to paypal account.

I recently deleted my old paypal account(unlinked my card and deleted),and created a new account ,and now I'm trying to add the card and it is giving an error that "this card is already in use , unlink the card and try again", So what should i do now ??

Allow 72 hours between removing and adding + clear cookies/cache and if no luck try another browser/device OR ask customer services for help to link it?
