Just wanted to know. Maybe im stupid or something. Is this the new era of cyber nazi? Selling things on ebay, then paying comission to ebay then paypal gets our money. Now the comedy-drama begins. Paypal charges another comission. Why? And then it locks the money until the buyer is satisfied. Haha. Ok. But doesn't really checks on status. Says 3 weeks otherwise until funds are released. But they do not release it until you contact them i guess. Ok. Lets contact them. They have call me center. Tried to go through there but an automated message comes up saying due to corona virus we are short staffed so we can not take your call. Ok. Lets try something else. Facebook.ok. tried to chat with a bot. The bot is using copy paste messages from FAQs resulting in only getting me angrier. Ok leave that. Let's email them. Send an email .guess what? An automated response email comes back in 2 minutes with a copy paste text regarding your question. They say if you want more help send another message and a representative will contact you. Ok. I did. Another automated email came with the same useless instructions. Why? Why? Why a multimillion dollar company has no customer service? Have they forgot that they sell nothing ? They actually have no power? The only power they have is through us??? We made them rich and all we get is automated messages more like a sick sarcastic appreciation. Treating us like fools. Showing no respect whatsoever. Is this the new cyber era? Shame on you ebay and PayPal. Shame on you both

Of course you pay 2 fees, ebay and paypal are 2 completely separate companies and you pay ebay to advertise and sell your item and you pay paypal to process your buyers payments for you....fees are listed on both sites.

As for the hold then read this...

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
